- Race begin and end at the Mt. Ashland Lodge at an altitude of 6500 feet. From there the courses meander along the Pacific Crest Trail with breathtaking views of Mt. Shasta, Mt McLaughlin, and the Siskiyou and Cascade mountain ranges.
