At the French 100 km Championship at "100km à pied de Steenwerck", Marie-Ange Brumelot ran 6:56:54. It was her first ultra and she was the first European woman - second in the world only to Tomoe Abe from Japan - to run sub-7 in a 100 km race. However, the European Record will not be ratified.
